
Reuland consults on national research and technical assistance projects related to the intersection of behavioral health and law enforcement. She currently is a Senior Advisor to the University of Chicago Health Lab. There she supports work on developing and executing policy research on alternatives to the police response to people in crisis and the interoperability between 988 and 911. Ms. Reuland also consults with the Wayne State Center on Behavioral Health and Justice.
Ms Reuland also is a Senior Research Program Manager at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, where she manages translational research in home-based care coordination programs to help people with dementia stay at home longer with better quality of life.
Ms. Reuland’s past work has included being a Senior Advisor to the Policing Program at the Vera Institute of Justice, working on projects aimed at supporting expansion of Police Mental Health collaboration. Ms. Reuland has worked with the Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center and the Police Executive Research Forum (PERF) on the BJA-funded Law Enforcement/Mental Health Partnership Project.
Ms. Reuland holds an MS in Criminal Justice from the University of Baltimore, and a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan.
