How We Work
APR researchers and experts pursue existing grant and contract funding announcements related to APRs high priority research areas. Conversely, various entities and organizations—both domestic and international, government and non-government—can directly contact APR to inquire about contracting for a Ready-To-Deploy or Customized project.
For each project, we form project-specific teams by selecting researchers whose expertise best fits each policy question, ensuring outputs are both methodologically sound and context-aware. Our collaborative process emphasizes iterative inquiry, empirical validation, and stakeholder feedback throughout the research cycle. Drawing on years of working together at leading research institutions, we prioritize transparent methods, clear communication for diverse audiences, and maintaining objectivity in all analytical work. We adapt our approach to each client’s timeline, budget, and decision context while holding constant our commitment to rigorous, evidence-based analysis. Depending on the needs of specific clients, the expertise of no more than one APR expert may be needed. Our Alliance allows for the flexibility for clients to work with individual experts as consultants.
